Mathblogging.org

Mathblogging.org is ready for public consumption!

Mathblogging.org is a simple aggregator for mathematical blogs. Peter, Fred and myself have been developing this website to give readers an overview of the mathematial blogosphere. Mathblogging can serve both as an index to what blogs are out there as well as a starting point for the interested novice. I think mathematics can benefit greatly from an informal publication channel in contrast to classic mathematical journals and in this regard blogging is a step in the right direction. We hope that Mathblogging can stimulate the mathematical blogging community.

While it is already usable, Mathblogging is still far from finished. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!

The source code of the website is available on github and licensed under the AGPL. Mathblogging.org is written in Python and runs on the Google App Engine. It should be straightforward to adapt to other subjects. So if you want to run your own blog aggregator you are welcome to fork our code!
